EZ-Find! is an affordable patented locator system that tracks up to 25 easily misplaced items such as keys, remotes, gameboys, phones, DS's, cameras, wallets, pets, and lots more. New and improved EZ-FIND! tags with a newly added on-off switch can be assigned a number using a quick programming option or you can personalize it using a 12 alpha-numeric easy text entry such as "Dads keys." Once the tags are programmed just place them on the item to track using provided key rings, or adhesive. When looking for the lost item just press "Find" and a large beeping sound will steer you in the right direction to find the lost item within minutes. Each tag has a long life battery and a low warning battery feature so you'll be sure to always keep track of important items. Additional EZ-Find tags can be purchased separately. Includes user guide, adhesive, key ring loops and tag number labels.

EZ Find
So far the product seems to work great. I currently have set up 5 items that we keep losing and it picks up their signal from at least 30 feet away without any issues. I have also purchased the pet tags to keep track of my cat in case it darts out the door.

Absolutely DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS
No, it doesn't work. At all. The instructions are difficult to understand. It is poorly laid out in knowing which one is supposed to make what beep. The little remotes are awkward to place on most items. But most of all, it doesn't work. At all, Period, boom, that's IT!
I spent a lot of time trying HARD to make this work because it was a gift from my son and very pricey. But it ain't gonna happen.
The remotes go off randomly, but not when you press the appropriate buttons. Just randomly. You are sitting in church or driving down the road and your purse starts beeping. Nonstop. And you can't turn it off without taking out the battery, which is nearly impossible to do. The covers are incredibly difficult to take off. In fact, two of them I CAN'T get off. As I type this, one is in the garage just waiting for the battery to die making an obnoxious clicking noice. I can't open it because it is very tight and I'm not strong enough.
Not ONE of the remotes worked. Yes, they make noise, but they don't have anything to do with the locator.
No, I don't like being woken at two in the morning with random chirpings in the next room that you have to track down. And if the remote is taped to a device like it is supposed to be, then you have a big mess trying to get the thing off. And once you do, you can't put it back on because the tape is ruined. But it doesn't matter because when you put the battery in it just yells at you until you take it out.
Don't say user error. I am a computer technician. I could handle this if it worked. It doesn't, plain and simple.

It works
I bought this unit after _again_ misplacing my keys and my ipod. I ordered the EZ Find, and at the same time, initiated a new habit by always hooking my keys to my purse strap, and have had no need to use the unit as it was intended (to find truly lost items). However, I have tested it a few times, and the tests have shown that they work well when the "lost" items are placed in the next room (I haven't tried burying them). I don't take the remote out of the house, since I rarely misplace items outside of my house.
The worst thing about the unit is using the remote. It's not intuitive, and really requires the instruction booklet to operate unmarked buttons successfully. That being said, once you get that figured out, it works!
The tags are a bit big, built to allow the rf receiver as well as audible alarm mechanism to allow you to find the thing when activated. However, for keys, it's not badly sized at all. I attached a tag to my ipod with a clear hairband, and since I never put it in my pocket, it's not been a problem to have on there. I'd hesitate to put a tag on a cat's collar, but a dog could handle it. The tags can be opened to have their batteries replaced.
If the remote were better designed, I would rate the EZ Find as 5-star. For someone who chronically misplaces items, this works really well. So does a behavioral intervention. :D

low battery
I bought this for my husband who is always losing his wallet or pager or cell phone or something else. I tried to set this up on three different occasions. Always getting the low battery message after turning it on. I tried fully charged rechargeable batteries the first two times I tried to set it up. I tried regular AAA batteries on the third attempt. Why would I use a product to help find things when it won't even let me set it up. I don't know why it doesn't like rechargeable batteries. The disks that come with it are great for keys or pagers. Not wallets. They are too thick for a wallet. And you would have to use adhesive tape on your cell phone. yikes! I fell I got had on this product. I would not recommend it to anyone. I am rather disappointed.

EZ Find Locator
This item has insufficient range (60 feet) to be of much use at finding anything outdoors. I bought it to replace another product (Loc8tor) as a cat finder. I sent it back for a refund and bought another Loc8tor.

Easy to Use
Very easy to use. I have a ipaq 211. I turned on the gps unit. I turned on the ipaq, The ipaq has a section to tell the GPS goes through COM1. Turned on the ipaq Bluetooth. Launched Google Maps, and presto it worked.
I also downloaded CoPilot, and this works excellent with Copilot.
I have not read the manual yet.
Used in the woods of Red River Gorge, KY. great reception.
I find the best order of sequence is to have the GPS unit turned on 1st, then turn on the PDA.

Fast Accurate GPS Receiver
Great Product. Works seamlessly out of the box with Google Earth. I suggest using Franson GpsGate for other software such as streets and trips. It will save you much time setting up, and allow you to run multiple applications using gps data. The GPS locks on very quickly on cold starts and almost instantly on a warm start. I have never recieved less than 5-6 sats at any time. APR

Works when plugged in, but battery DOA
The unit I received would not charge, and would not turn on when not plugged in. On the other hand, when plugged in, it mated fine with my Palm Centro and worked with the Tom Tom software on the Centro. It also appeared to work with the StarCaddy demo software on the Centro, but I will have to test a second unit with a working battery on the golf course to be sure. Meanwhile, I am waiting to see if Amazon refunds the 2nd day air postage I paid.

Better than cellphone gps
I have a Nokia e71 with internal gps which works fine. Indoors I can lock on to 3 or 4 satellites and outdoors I can usually lock on to about 5 or 6 satellites with an accuracy of about 100m indoors to 15m outdoors that fluctuates.
When I got the BT-368 I was happily surprised by how small, thin and sleek the design was. I paired it with the e71 in a few seconds and the satellite lock immediately went up to about 10 satellites at almost 100% signal strength. The error outdoors dropped to to an impressive 6m accuracy without fluctuation.
The battery also lasts for hours. Excellent product. 5 out of 5.

This powerful Bluetooth-enabled GPS receiver is the perfect way to always find your way home (or to buried treasure).

Good buy, good value
This is a great value. For half a hundred bucks, you aren't gonna find a better device. Immediately worked out of box, paired with my Nokia N800, and immediately began reporting my GPS location. Not sure if it's the device or the n800, but the refresh rate is about 1-2 seconds I'd say, which is typical of most any GPS device.
If you're going to an unbundled GPS device to use with your own device, this is the perfect buy. Rechargeable battery and auto-off make this device a 5-star.

Great value GPS
I received the unit at night two days ago, charged it, read the manual and started using it first thing in the morning. It paired easily with my Nokia E61 and according to the navigation software and my own experience I had an accuracy of 6-8 Meters. Don't know yet as to how long the charge holds, but the user experience is great. PROS: * Simple to use * Delivers highly accurate data to the target device. * Solid build. * Very low price. CONS: * Could not find any so far.

a worth while device, mostly
I purchased this because a previous blue tooth GPS (Altina) turned out to be useless with both my notebook computer and Treo650. I use it for both air navigation using FlightSoft and ground navigation using Streets and Trips 2009 on my notebook. The bluetooth works quickly, acquiring satellites takes longer than advertised, but once locked on, the lock is good even indoors and moved away from a window, although the blue tooth range is adequate and the device can be left there. It will not, however, blue tooth to the Treo 650, which will blue tooth to other devices. I do not know if it is in the device or the Treo, but the Treo never sees the device. Nonetheless, given the reasonable cost, I think it is a worthwhile purchase for most of my purposes.

Works great with MS Streets and Trips 2009
I use GPS and MS Streets and Trips daily in connection with my work. I purchased this item to replace an old Pharos GPS that finally died. The connection time is much faster with this unit. The battery lasts a long time and charges by USB. I get several 10 hour days on a single charge. I am very pleased with it.
The unit also works with my Samsung Omnia.

Who needs a stinking map!
This product is the perfect solution for a budget. You already have a laptop and would like a GPS but don't want to spend a fortune...this is the one for you. The ease of use is outstanding. A laptop provides a great view, no small GPS screen. The only drawback some might experience is finding a place for the setup to sit in your vehicle. Overcome that and you will be completely satisfied. Happy trails!

Good performance, slipshod support, installation from hades
This is my third Garmin GPS. All have performed adequately. I would recommend their use to anyone. Installation of the MobilePC software on a new Lenovo S12 laptop the and USB receiver is straight forward....at first. When you try to register it at [...] for updates and "free" subscription service, the troubles begin. 1) [...] helpfully offers to tell you where to find the serial number, but does not mention MobilePC. The serial number is not in MobilePC or on the box, but is on the bottom of the USB receiver, starts with "19D", and you may need a magnifying glass to read it. You have to hit continue to get from the "helpful" page to the next web page where the serial number can be entered. 2) You will be given a product key which you should record and also ask for it to be emailed to you. You will also be offered a map update. This update is over 2GB in size and can take a very very long time to download-it's about three CDs worth of data. You have thirty days to do this. 3) When applied, the update can take up to two hours to install. The update will direct you to follow all instructions carefully. This will be a mistake. Do not attach the USB receiver to the computer during the installation of the update or at the end of the install it will fail, and you will have to start over. If the update installation asks you if you if you want to restart your computer now, do **not** do this. It will ask you before the installation is complete and you will have to start over, so wait until the update has asked for your product key and the installation is completed before you restart. 4) The update is labeled 2010 update, but when you finally get it installed it will tell you it's the 2009 data. 5) The free subscription to weather, hotels, fuel prices, flights in MobilePC will ask you for an activation number which you are to get from [...]. Ignore this. Eventually MobilePC will connect with garmin server and automatically start the services after you have registered and submitted the serial number. You may have to restart the MobilePC a few times and connect to the Garmin server. 6) I telephoned customer service, and was told there was an expected 35 minute wait, so I passed on that. E-mail support was slow, terse, unhelpful and uncongenial. The only thing I learned form e-mail support was the location of the serial number, everything else was by trial and error and that took six emails. I was astounded by these difficulties, as I am used to excellent support from suppliers and at worst, confusing directions, not wrong like Garmin's. I have no idea what these yahoos (after Swift, not Yang & Filo) were thinking when they designed this product, after all, a lot of aircraft depend on Garmin products for navigation.
Rating :
Ouch
I have used my PC for active routing with another company for a number of years. This looked like a nice upgrade from a good name in the business. Not so. The gps is probably fine, but the mapping program is limited in use and very basic. Not a good product in my estimation.

Customer Review :
Why you should buy this (for 45 dollars or less)
The holux GR-213-U comes with a fairly long cable and is advertised as water proof. I have not tested this. However, I did break this thing apart to mod inside a netbook. I couldnt get reception there. I removed it.. soldered a new usb cable to it and then electric taped all over it.. Now it plugs into a regular sized usb again and works perfectly! Picks up a precise location in seconds on a warm start or half a minute from a cold start. Comes with monitoring software which gives coordinates, altitude, time, date, and much more I dont need to use. Works with other mapping software.
This thing has an internal battery and memory. If you use it often it will remember satellite data and pick up signals on the double. Truely awesome. Very small. Should be cheap.

Holux 213 USB GPS
I have used five of these now in boat navigation laptops for myself and friends. Very fast lockup, it always has a position before the nav software loads. Very sensitive, while others are having to stick their GPS out side this one is receiving in the cabin. I like the fact it is powered by the USB port and doesn't need a separate battery.
